From Christmas 2023 through Epiphany of this year we had a Matching Gifts campaign thanks to a very generous donor and the many equally generous friends and benefactors who stepped up to contribute to the effort. We are now benefiting from these gifts as the roof of Cor Jesu Monastery, including the Quad and Porch roofs is now able to be replaced. The sounds of footsteps on the roof and the laborers hard at work, vibrations, bangs, and thumps drove Gunther the cat under the stairs in hiding. Gunther may not be very grateful about this but please know that all the Handmaids are! May God reward you all abundantly.
