Father Gerald taught his spiritual daughters to always be grateful. Thanksgiving is an expression of our utter dependence on God and his kindly providence. And that providence often comes through the hands of others. We cannot list each person, or each gift. Some are anonymous. Some hidden. But we remain constant in our gratitude towards God and our benefactors, known and unknown.
We share a few scenes of the Thanksgiving season. It may be considered a ‘secular’ holiday in America but in its origins and purpose it is always a gratitude directed to God. Without God we can do nothing. So we thank God for you.
