Having our dear Sister Rose Anne of Jesus pass away on July 1st, with her funeral on July 3rd so close to Sister Christiana’s profession of solemn vows as a Handmaid on July 7th has kept us very busy. Now, we take an opportunity to share some of the photos from our farewell to Sister Rose Anne, her funeral. Celebrating was our Shepherd, Bishop Richard F. Stika of Knoxville. Concelebrating was one of our chaplains, Father Patrick Resen. Bridges Funeral Home attended to every detail for which we are eternally grateful. We thank everyone who assisted in any way from their presence assisting at the graveside, to the logistics of transforming an Oratory to a Viewing Parlor and a Chapter Room-Refectory into a Mass Chapel, to bringing gifts of flowers, serving as pall bearers and, most of all, offering their prayers for Sister’s repose of soul and for our community. Thank you and may God bless you all.
