On the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, July 16th, 2015, the Handmaids of the Precious Blood moved to our recently acquired property in New Market, Tennessee. With no small debt of gratitude to the many generous souls who helped us achieve this milestone in our community’s history, we look forward to the days ahead as we settle in to our new surroundings overlooking the Holston River. If you have prayed for us or helped us in any way, small or big, know how closely we hold you in our prayers.
Despite the long day of moving, we made sure to end the day right by first setting up the Oratory in which we will have our Divine Office together and our Holy Hours of Eucharistic Adoration. It was only right to expose Our Lord in the Monstrance, sing “O Salutaris Hostia”, and kneel before the Master of our new house in deep thanksgiving. All of you were with us then. And as Our Lord draws us to himself into the enclosure that will be built on this site, we will be sure to keep all of you in our prayers.
Thank you.
