Go ahead…snow!

In late January, on a frosty afternoon hike, daffodils were seen defiantly rising in bright green clumps over the largely dry and dead looking floor of the woods. While not yet blossoming, their buds seemed already to be shouting, “We’re here! Winter will end soon!” 
Sometimes, in a patch of dry prayer or troubled times, we need to remember these flowers known so well as harbingers of better weather. Their job, as it were, is to remind us not to pay much attention to the negatives, but await the good that lies ahead. Easter is coming!
