Snowflakes, sleds, and hope springs eternal

A Handmaid News

A sudden, but sticking, snow flurry gave us a moment for a sled photo op to say thanks to a dear benefactor for his gift of a real sled after viewing images of our improvised cardboard ‘sled’ at Christmas.

In East Tennessee, at least in our part, snow enough for sledding may not be common but our gratitude for both the snow and the sled is great. Thank you, Father Downey!

Like the many falling gems of snow transforming the landscape, so are all our friends and benefactors who aid us in the many gifts they send, big and little, both those requested in our wish lists, and those surprises…like shiny red sleds….that brighten our lives. God reward you all!
