Pumpkins for the Eve of All Saints

A Handmaid News

While the rest of the world seems seasonally driven to eat/drink all things ‘pumpkin spice’, we decided to deal with the real McCoy instead. As the Solemnity of All Saints approached, our Sisters boldly prepared stuffed pumpkin for the main meal of the day. To add to the festivities, culinary art and humor combined to create a memorable entrée. It isn’t everyday that one feels the need to photograph food, but after all their hard work and creativity, we could hardly do less. It made for a blessed Solemnity of All Saints.

P.S. It was delicious and the homemade roasted pumpkin seeds were tasty as well.

Pray for the Holy Souls!
